On July 11th, 2009, Georgia Internet Marketing Center will hold its next 4-week intensive website and Internet marketing workshop. Not only will you walk out with a fully functional website, you’ll also walk away with the knowledge, the tools and the resources required to successfully run and operate your new website.

In addition to that, you’ll walk away knowing how to…

• get your website listed on the first few pages of Google, Yahoo and MSN (Bing)
• drive targeted traffic and prospects to your website
• focus on list building for optimal website conversion rates
• setup and operate your own Google Adwords campaigns
• implement social media tools and strategies into your website
• setup and process credit card payments from your web site
• make changes, edits and updates to your website
• conduct keyword research
• and much, much more…

This is a hands-on workshop where you’ll be involved in the creation and design process of your website. You are in control of choosing the design, features, look, and feel of your site. So let me stress the following point again… When you finish our 4-week workshop, you’ll be walking away with your own fully functioning web site and/or blog.

Website Workshop Prerequisites:

1. You must bring a laptop or notebook computer with a wireless network card (or wireless enabled) so you’ll be able to connect to our wireless network.
2. Having a basic understanding of browsing the Internet is required along with basic knowledge of operating (such as copying, cutting and pasting, etc.).
3. Bring along digital photos or images of your logos, yourself, your office, products, customers, mp3 files, etc… Store these on your computer/external hard drive and make sure you know how to access them on your computer.
4. Bring a credit card or debit card with you. During the course, you’ll have to purchase and register for some of the accounts we’ll be showing you during the workshop (Google Adwords, Get a Freelancer — for website development, etc…). You shouldn’t have to spend more than $150 - $200 over the course of the 4-week training.
5. You will also need a domain name (dot-com name) and website hosting. You can get your domain name yourself directly from GoDaddy.com for just $9.99/yearly. I wouldn’t recommend their hosting plans… We can set you up on our servers for $149/yearly.

After the 4-week workshop, you’ll be added to an exclusive forum where you’ll be invited to share information with your instructors and your classmates. As an added bonus, you’ll receive two, 30-minute follow-up phone phone calls during the 60 days following the workshop to fine-tune your website and marketing strategy, while getting your follow-up questions answered.

When and Where?
The workshop will require four evenings of your time starting July 11th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m. The second, third and fourth class will take place at the same time, on the following 3 consecutive Saturdays (July 18th, 25th, and August 1st).

The workshop will take place at our new facility in Adairsville, Georgia off Hwy 140. We’ll post the address here within the next few days… we’re scheduled to sign the new lease to our new location within the next couple of days.

Snacks, beverages and lunches will be provided at no additional costs to you!

* Seating is strictly limited to 12 participants to allow for personal attention. To allow the instructor to assist each person individually, the class size is limited to 12 participants. Please sign-up as soon as possible before the class is filled. Currently this is the ONLY workshop scheduled for July/August.
